Lucy

In these portraits of a young woman, the poses, the dark background and the model’s light skin evoke classical paintings: Renaissance portraiture, the Dutch School and the Swiss painter Albert Anker. In each picture I chose a slightly different approach by seeking more relief, a half profile or the moment between two frozen images.
